SOLD. More to come! Smaller Archangel Michael Pendant

£88.00
Fine silver, sterling silver
2.6cm diameter

SOLD. More to come!
I have been asked if I could make a smaller version of the Archangel Michael pendant I make in patinated silver and gold vermeil, after much trial and tribulation trying to find a metal clay that would shrink enough I have managed to make a couple significantly smaller than the original as you can hopefully see in the photos!

Please NOTE there will only be 6 to 7 of these available unless I can find another way of making them because the fine silver metal clay I have used was only available for a short time to commemorate a 30 year anniversary!!

A terrific picture pendant of Archangel Michal slaying the dragon, taken from an antique picture button, the detail is lovely, hopefully this can be seen in the photo, the larger pendant alongside the smaller is the original pendant and is available in a separate listing, please scroll down! The pendant is made in fine silver metal clay and hangs from a nice sized sterling silver Spiga chain with a carabiner clasp.

If you haven't come across metal clay before it starts life out as tiny particles of metal mixed with a binder, in it's clay form it can be sculpted, textured, folded etc. it is then fired where upon the binder burns away leaving a metal piece, in this case fine silver which is 99.9% silver, very pure, sterling is 92.5% silver. Metal clays now come in copper, bronze, gold as well as silver.
The pendant is 2.6cm in diameter (1 inch) and has a 45cm chain or 18 inches.
I love metal clay and the textures that can be created on a piece but please note it is not like milled metal sheet which can be made very smooth and is often highly polished.

Please note you may not receive the pendant in the photos but it will be one very similar to it!
