A little piece of wearable art in celestial angel form! Sculpted from fine silver metal clay this lovely contemporary angel with outstretched wings hangs prettily from a sterling silver diamond cut rolo chain. Each textured angel is formed by building her up piece by piece with tiny layers of metal clay. If you have not come across metal clay it is tiny particles of silver mixed with a binder and it it can be sculpted, textured etc. it is then fired and the binder burns off and the tiny silver particles bind together to create a metal piece, in this case fine silver, which is very pure, 99.9% silver, sterling is 92.5%. The angel is 4cm tall (1 3/4 inches) and 6.6cm wide (just over 2 1/2inches) from wing end to wing end! All my items are gift wrapped!
