A terrific picture gold vermeil pendant of Archangel Saint Michael slaying the dragon, taken from an antique picture button, the detail is lovely, hopefully this can be seen in the photos! I plate these pendants to gold vermeil standard which is 2.5 microns thick, plated over fine silver which is 99.9% silver, so very pure (sterling is 92.5% silver). The plating is 24 carat/karat gold, this is thick plating not flash plating, so it will last.

The pendant is made in fine silver metal clay and hangs from a nice sized gold vermeil popcorn chain. If you haven't come across metal clay before it starts life out as tiny particles of metal mixed with a binder, in it's clay form it can be sculpted, textured, folded etc. it is then fired where upon the binder burns away leaving a metal piece, in this case as mentioned above fine silver which is 99.9% silver, sterling is 92.5% silver. Metal clays now come in copper, bronze, gold as well as silver.
There is some variation in size with these pendants they end up between 2.9cm and 3.2cm in diameter (1 3/16 inch) and has a 45/46cm chain or 18 inches popcorn chain. If you want the smallest possible please let me know.
I love metal clay and the textures that can be created on a piece but please note it is not like milled metal sheet which can be made very smooth and is often highly polished.
Please note you may not receive the pendant in the photos but it will be one very similar to it!
