A pretty trio of dark amethyst beads, make up the amethyst earrings, one faceted, one plain and faceted again, wire wrapped in gold vermeil hanging from a simple ear hook fitting. If you haven't come across gold vermeil it is sterling silver plated thickly with high carat/karat gold, it wears well and has the advantage of being a more affordable option to solid gold.
The earrings are 5.5cm long (just under 2 1/4 inches) from the top of the hook and 0.8cm wide (1/4 inch), the drop length is 4.2cm
(1 5/8 inch).
