A pair of geometric cube threader/swing/wishbone earrings, in black onyx with a solid but not heavy fine silver nugget bead in between the onyx beads (fine silver is 99.9% silver and sterling is 92.5%). the silver beads are individually made roughly the same shape in fine silver metal clay, metal clay was first created by the Japanese back in 1990 in gold and then in turn silver, it is microscopic particles of silver mixed into a binder, it can be sculpted, textured, rolled etc. it is then fired whereupon the binder burns away and the particles fuse together or sinter into a solid metal piece. Nice simple geometric clean lines make these a sophisticated pair of earrings. 5.4cm long (2 1/8 inch) and 0.6cm wide (3/16 inch).
