The bee pendant is given a patina and then the raised silver parts are polished to give it a pop! It is approximately 2.4cm wide and 2.9cm tall. It comes with an 18 inch or 46 cm sterling silver rolo chain also known as a belcher chain with a good sized carabiner clasp.

The bee and the flower are made from fine silver metal clay, which has a higher silver content than sterling, fine silver is 99.9% silver and sterling is 92.%% silver content. If you haven't come across metal clay before it is fine silver particles in a binder that can be sculpted or shaped or textured, once dry it is fired and the binder burns away just leaving the silver. It comes in all sorts of metals, bronze, copper, gold as well as silver.
