Gorgeous Hibiscus Petal reversible pendant in gold vermeil, gold vermeil is thick high carat gold plating (at least 2.5 microns the French standard for gold vermeil) over sterling or fine silver, in this case both fine and sterling silver, gold vermeil is very durable . The pendant is made from fine silver metal clay, fine silver has a 99.9% silver content, it is a little softer than sterling but works well for pendants and earrings. Sterling has a 92.5% silver content and is good for rings and chains etc.. if you haven’t come across metal clay before it starts life out as fine metal particles mixed with a clay binder, it can be textured and sculpted and all sorts. It is fired and the binder burns away leaving a solid metal piece, in this case a fine silver petal!

The pendant is 3.7cm tall (1 1/2 inches) and 2.6cm wide (just over an inch) and the sparkle Dimond cut rolo chain is 56cm long or 22 inches.
