Tactile and lovely tulip petal pendant which is reversible, a complete tulip petal in fine silver!
I have made the bail so the pendant can be worn either way round, it sits equally well either way.

The most known meaning of tulips is love, not just any love apparently unyielding and perfect love! When you give a partner, parent, child or friend tulips you are showing them how much you love them! That one had passed me by! They also symbolise rebirth, so tulips are the perfect gift for someone who is starting a new job, moving or dealing with a break up!

The pendant is made from fine silver metal clay, it has a purity of 99.9% silver, the chain is sterling silver which is 92.5% silver nd has a good sized carabiner clasp on it. If you haven't come across metal clay before it was first created by the Japanese back in 1990 and it is fine metal particles, in this case fine silver mixed with a clay binder and it can be sculpted and textured and has endless possibilities, it is then fired and the clay binder burns away leaving just the metal piece. It is now available in gold and bronze and copper and all manner of metals, some of which behave themselves and some of which are tricky to work in!

The silver tulip petal is 4.3cm long and 2.3cm wide, the chain is a sparkly diamond cut rolo chain and is 18 inches but I am happy to put it onto a 20 inch chain also, just message me at the checkout. If you require a longer chain please message me also and I will see what I can do to accommodate.
