Gorgeous art nouveau fairy and flowers pendant in fine silver with a lovely twisted herringbone chain.
PLEASE NOTE the chain used in these photos is not available but I am using one that is very similar and just as pretty! The fairy has flowing hair and pretty wings and flowers around her. This pendant is created from a mould I made using a beautiful art nouveau button I bought (I couldn't resist her!), the detail is lovely and I managed to make a decent mould so the detail is lovely on the pendant too! The pendant is made in fine silver metal clay, if you haven't come across metal clay was first created by the Japanese back in 1990 in gold and then in turn silver, it is microscopic particles of silver mixed into a binder, it can be sculpted, textured, rolled etc. it is then fired whereupon the binder burns away and the particles fuse together or sinter into a solid metal piece. The pendant is 2.7cm in height (1 1/8 inch) and 2.8cm wide (approx. 1 1/8 inch) and it hangs on a 45cm or 18 inch twisted herringbone chain which has a carabiner clasp (also often referred to as a lobster clasp).
